Wheel thrown porcelain vase, intricately hand painted in striped checkered pattern using a black underglaze , overlapped by three large peony flowers in royal blue, then finished in a clear gloss glaze. A 22kt gold luster accent is then painted on the final piece, then fired a third time. 7x10.5 inches
